Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden is not so large as Kobe Municipal Arboretum but the distance is not so much with few minutes drive to the West on Rokko Driveway. If you pick up the tourist pass from the tourist center at Umeda station in Osaka it covers free unlimited bus rides on Mount Rokko. Entry is cash only and with the tourist pass you get entry for about 430 JPY which would otherwise cost you around 620 JPY without the tourist pass. 30 mins here is good enough as the garden is not that large.
