Miharashi no to — Attraction in Kobe

(Trip was made back then on 9 Dec 2019, 2 years before the Covid-19 Pandemic hit)

Visited Mt Rokko while staying at Arima Onsen 2 years ago during our Kansai vacation.

Unfortunately by the time we arrived it was the start of winter and the autumn leaves have fallen from the trees. Otherwise the ropeway ride would have been more enjoyable with different shades of orange and yellow spreading over the mountain.

There’s a few viewing area with a breathtaking panoramic view of Kobe city and Osaka Bay, you could even see Osaka City far off in the distance.

Unfortunately it’s not easily accessible and apart from admiring the view, there really isn’t much else to do here.

海の日に訪問。下界は30℃で、じんわりする暑さですが、ここは22℃で、気持ちよかったです。天然クーラーです。が、残念ながら、霧がすごくて、一寸先は霧でした。もちろん、景色は見られず。

建物が点在していますが、全部近いので、全部みてまわれます。

見晴らしの塔の付近には、雑貨屋さん、ガーデンもありました。

こんな天気のわりには、観光客は多かったです。駐車場も8割ほど、埋まっていました。三連休の中日だからでしょうか？

車で来ました。道中、自転車の人と何人もすれ違いました。霧が深い山道なので怖かったです。運転は慎重にしたほうがいいと思いました。

駐車場はいくつかありますが、1番上に停めました。1台1000円。お金は先払いです。駐車券はでますが、出口で出さなくても出られました。買い物しても、割引は、なかったです。
