Tanikagama Gallery — Attraction in Koka

All the way at the far end of the town from the train station, this was by far the best ceramics maker we visited in Shigaraki. Exploring the old factory building while looking at the wares was an adventure in itself. Lots of pieces to choose from, but don't miss the special room behind the register on the second floor where special pieces made by the proprietor are displayed and for sale.
