Noichi Zoological Park — Attraction in Konan

This zoo is built at sunny side of hill. Its observation route is made rounding loose slope and very good long path on a walk. If you want to take it easy it is best. The animals are small ones and birds, large carnivorous animals are not there, a main display one is whale-headed stork. Their fur is very fine and well taken care of. This is one of the nicer Japanese zoos, and a standout among provincial zoos. Although it isn't very large and can be viewed in an hour or two, most of the animals have decent space and are kept in open enclosures instead of cramped cages.
