Ganesha 7 — Restaurant in Konan

This was such a pleasant surprise of a restaurant! My friend brought me here for dinner after I asked about local Indian restaurants, and it was totally what I was looking for. My friend had also never eaten here before taking me, and she was also very happy with the food, service, and ambiance. The decor is very bright and colorful, and as soon as you walk in, you can smell the delicious spices coming from the kitchen. The booths are nice and spacious, and I thought it would be a great place to eat at with a group of friends. Our server was kind and attentive. We took some time to finally decide what we wanted to order, and the staff patiently waited and carefully took our order. It seems like they often re-confirm people's orders just to make sure, so I think that's a good idea. The food was fantastic, and there is so much variety available on the menu! It was difficult to decide, so we chose a special course that offered a little bit of many of the options. It starts with two salads and soups, some thin and crispy papadum disks, and then samosas, biriyani, and spiced-up chicken! And those are all just little appetizers, because the main course is actually 3 different curries with varying spiciness levels of your choice and 3 nans which you can choose from 3 different kinds of nan on offer. We decided to get one of each (plain, green, and cheese), but we were so surprised with how big they were, despite being cut into quarters! The texture was nice and chewy, and it was perfect with the curries we ordered. The last dish in the course is a mango sherbet for dessert. It was a great taste to finish on.
