Very easy hike up to the Matsumoto pass (120m elevation only). I will recommend climbing from the trailhead at Odomari side. Once you are at the pass you will see a Jizo statue (with bullet mark). From there I did not descend down the trail. Instead I chose (and this is what is recommended) to hike towards Onigajo castle ruins. Follow the sign boards. There are several nice view points along the way. From the castle ruins you can descend the mountain and end up at the Onigajo visitor center. 2025年6月週末訪問。 いつかそのうち...と先延ばしにしていたらたぶんずっと行けないから、ユネスコ世界遺産登録20周年を迎えた今こそ...! 梅雨入り前のよく晴れた週末、ついに念願叶って登ってきました。 といっても全長約1000km。「紀伊山地の霊場と参詣道」として京都・吉野・高野山・伊勢の各地から、熊野本宮大社・熊野那智大社・熊野速玉大社の熊野三山に向かう参詣道の総称で、実はいくつものルートがあります。 今回は、伊勢路の中でも比較的距離が短い松本峠に挑戦。 静寂な竹林や、苔生す石畳が続く山道はなんとも幻想的。 折り返し地点でもある松本峠の東屋から望む七里御浜は伊勢路屈指の絶景。訪れた登山者たちを感動させてくれるはず。 宿泊先のホテルアクティビティの一環としてツアーガイドさんが終始ついてくれることもあり、老若男女問わず初心者でも安心してトレッキングできるのでおすすめ。
