御祭神： 宗像三女神 宇佐八幡三神

由緒： 国の重要文化財に指定されている桂濱神社本殿は前室付き三間社流れ造りで、１４８０（文明１２）年の棟札が残されている。 １４９９（明応８）年に柿葺きの現在の型に整備され、内部の身舎柱には僧増順が１５１１（永正８）年に参籠した旨の墨書が記されている。 全体的に木細で、庇の柱まで円柱にするなど、県内でも類例の少ない建物。 御祭神は海人の神・「宗像三女神」と武将の神「宇佐八幡三神」。

本殿は国指定重要文化財。八幡宮という名称を明治４年から地名に基づき桂浜神社と改号した。祭神は仲哀天皇、応神天皇、神功皇后。

元々は八幡宮だったらしいです。浜辺に大きな鳥居があり道をはさんで境内に入っていくかんじです。確かに御手水舎に水がなかったです。でも境内横にトイレがありきれいでした。
