Very nice shrine especially good during Autumn. Nakano Shrine is situated within the woods of Nakano Momiji Mountain. There, you can see hundred years old cedar and maple tree. If you like to hike, there are hiking trail surrounded the shrine and enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves at the same time.

紅葉の名所で知られていますが、神社そのものに非常が魅力的!不動明王様が祀られています。その他様々な摂社?末社?あります。門のところに大きなモミの木、境内の大きな杉の木、川、とても気持ちの良い場所です。手水舎の水はかけ流し?で、本当に清められた感じになりました。紅葉の時期ももちろん良いですが、観光客のいない時期の早朝の清々しさは格別です。ありがたいことに紅葉祭り期間以外は近くの駐車場は無料です。

中野神社という名前より、中野もみぢの山の方が遥かに知名度高そうだが、そんなかんなで紅葉の名所。 津軽三不動尊の一つだが、今のフォーマットは完全に神社。お不動様は小さい石像が一つある程度。明治の神仏分離で神社になったか。 神社としての地位を確かにすべく、なのか知らないが、境内の広さの割には鳥居がいろいろ複数立っている。オフシーズンに人が居ない境内を散策するのも非常に心地よいと思う。
