I wanted to get away from people for an afternoon and go for a hike. This was the perfect spot—so calm and peaceful, just outside of Kyoto. It only took one hour by bus from the city, and suddenly, I was in the middle of nature. Honestly, it felt like stepping into Narnia. I walked from Toro Station to the Bamboo Forest, which took about 2.5 hours in total. It was a great walk, quiet and refreshing. Definitely a nice escape from the busy city.
