If you're dreaming of that classic Japanese spring scene – delicate pink sakura dancing alongside vibrant yellow canola fields – then this spot delivers in spades! Seriously, the contrast is breathtaking and makes for some truly stunning photos. Imagine layers of soft pink against a sea of bright yellow, all under a clear sky... yeah, it's that good. Just a heads-up though, those incredible panoramic views come with a bit of effort. Expect a fairly significant uphill walk to reach the main viewing area. It's not exactly a leisurely stroll, so wear comfy shoes and be prepared to work those leg muscles a little. Honestly, while the climb might make you puff a bit, the reward at the top is absolutely worth it. Catching your breath while gazing at that gorgeous scenery? Priceless. It's worth the climb, but probably not the best place to lug a picnic basket. Think more "admire and capture" than "lay back and relax" in terms of vibe. Keep in mind that this floral spectacle is fleeting, with a limited window that seems to fall around February or March. So check their website for the most up-to-date blooming information before you plan your visit~ So, if you're up for a bit of an adventure and want to immerse yourself in some seriously beautiful spring colors, definitely put this spot on your list. Just remember – the best views often come after a little climb!

We visited on March first and the cherry blossoms were stunning! The entrance fee is very fair for such a huge grove. It’s one of the most unique places I’ve seen sakura—being on a mountainside you get great views and a cozy atmosphere of narrow winding paths. There were plenty of times when we had entire pathways to ourselves—a rarity around blooming cherry blossom trees!

The hike to this park is definitely not easy, but the views do make it worth it. Especially since it is a great place to get away from the crowds down below. Many people were taking professional photos and with the gorgeous blossoms, this is a great place to do that. Entrance fee is 300 yen. Just follow the signs from the lower blossoms up to the top.
