Onoyorankaju Orchards — Attraction in Minami-Alps

Lovely cherry orchard in Minami Alps. It costs about 2200￥ for 45 minutes of fruit picking, and you can eat all that you pick. There are a variety of cherries, all delicious, with ladders that you can use to climb to the top of the trees where the sweeter fruits are.

You will have to leave your bags before entering the orchard, so bring an outfit with pockets. There are also baby goats and friendly cats hanging around the orchard, so if you have children they will enjoy the animals.

The staff are extremely kind and personable, well traveled, and friendly. I recommend visiting this orchard if you are looking for a wholesome fruit picking experience.

Buses can be taken to the area from Kofu station, with about a fifteen or so minute walk to get to the stop...

Summer fruit picking in Yamanashi is a must! We had an incredible experience at 小野洋蘭果樹園 picking cherries and peaches. The fruits were saccharine sweet and very juicy! Fruits and jams were on sale too.
