This is a perfect easy hike, with a relatively flat and paved main trail, making it ideal for beginner hikers or those looking for a peaceful outdoor experience. We visited during the summer and found it delightfully uncrowded, allowing us to fully enjoy the serene natural beauty, however quite hot. The trail is easily accessible for both locals and tourists, offering a great option for nature lovers of all ages and fitness levels.

Along the way, you’ll pass beautiful spots, including a temple, small museum, a beautiful cafe and picturesque waterfalls. After our hike, we stumbled upon a hidden gem—a local onsen! It was a fantastic discovery, offering an affordable, authentic public bath experience, for locals, with great amenities. This onsen is the perfect way to relax after visiting the waterfalls, and surprisingly, not many tourists notice it.

For those looking to experience it, after you finish the trail, you’ll notice a large elevator leading to the top— do not hesitate and take it!! and you’ll find the onsen waiting for you. A wonderful way to end a...

If you're a beginner hiker looking for a scenic and easily accessible trail, look no further than the Falls Trail in Minoh Park 箕面公園 滝道. Offering a delightful adventure for nature enthusiasts of all ages and fitness levels, this trail is both visually stunning and conveniently short, making it a perfect choice for a quick outdoor getaway.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this trail is its manageable length. Taking approximately 60 minutes to complete, including stops to admire the cascading waterfalls and picturesque landscapes, it won't demand an entire day from your schedule. This makes it an ideal choice for those who want to experience the joys of hiking without committing to an overly exhausting or...

The trees were barren when we visited, I think it would be much nicer to come during autumn.

It is a 2.8km walk from minoh mrt to the waterfall. You are able to take the flat path walk along the river to reach the waterfall. It is calming to hear the water trickling down the river.

Alternatively you could climb the stairs which will be slightly exhausting. Wear proper shoes as some paths will be rocky

There are several attractions inside - Insects Museum, Ryuanji Temple and the Minoh Falls. Foot fall is pretty low on a weekday (10 Jan’24).

Beware there is wild monkey sighted (quite big in size) so try to keep...
