Kobi No Tenguyama (Tengu Mountain Shrine) — Attraction in Minokamo

Kobi no Tengusan has a big statue of a long-nosed goblin, and rather unusual shrines! There's little intricate areas to walk around in, and quite an interesting shrine with lots of goblin masks everywhere. Not your average shrine at all. Sort of a hidden feeling to the back parts of it with little things to discover in a cool, shady forest. There is a walk that you can do around the forest as well. ​今から65年前、私がまだ幼稚園児だった頃、父が役員を務めていたご縁で、名古屋から「大須組」の信者の方々と連れだって、何台ものバスでこの「古井の天狗さん」を訪れました。 ​当時の記憶では、周囲は舗装されていないデコボコの道で、生い茂る木々に囲まれ、飛騨川はまるでエメラルドのような鮮やかな緑色をしていたのを鮮明に覚えています。 ​そんな深い縁のある天狗さんで、今回、車の安全ご祈祷をお願いいたしました。

​朝一番で伺ったところ、私の一台だけにも関わらず、本堂で非常に丁寧なご祈祷をしていただけました。 般若心経の読経から、車のナンバーと依頼者の名前の読み上げまで、実に厳粛かつ丁重なお祓いでした。 ​その後は車へ移動し、四本のタイヤそれぞれに、お祓いの塩をひと塩ずつかけていただき、全ての儀式が完了しました。

​これほどまで細やかで心尽くしのお祓いをしていただき、8千円というご祈祷料には本当に驚きました。 他ではなかなか経験できない、格別なご祈祷だったと心から感じています。 ​ご祈祷後には、お守りの他に、天狗さんのタオルとシールまで頂戴いたしました。
