Parking right by the park is not free, but the parking at the bottom of the hill is free of charge. It's only a 7 minute walk. The park is located on the hill. There are dwarf bamboos growing shielding the sidewalks from the wind. Pleasant in the windy cold weather, but very hot and humid in the summer. Toilets are available in the middle and at the entrance to the park. There are two observation towers. At the south west point it's possible to go down to the rocky beach and a light house. There is also one more path in the southern part of the park that leads down. Great for kids to run around and play by the rocks and tide pool. No playgrounds around but plenty of space for kids to run around and have fun in nature.
The parking was 500 yen for a regular vehicle and the ticket is good for the day and can be used at any of the Jogashima parking lots.
The hiking and walking trail from East end to West end is about 2km.
Definitely worth checking out on a nice day with a good sea breeze. Many people come out here for wedding photos too. You can tell the spring time will be great once more flowers...

The nature geek in me loved the rock formations and the dynamic sea that interacts with them. A location appealing to landscape photographer, fisherman, scuba divers and sea kayakers I would guess. The town adjacent to the park is small and likely more exciting fishing fishing Port in the summer time. Not much to see an do in winter...a few souvenir shops, seafood restaurants and seafood shops. The town has a few dive shops so scuba must be a popular...
