Ikema Bridge — Attraction in Miyakojima

池間大橋は、宮古島と池間島を結ぶ全長1.4kmほどの海上橋で、左右に広がる「池間ブルー」と呼ばれる鮮やかな海の色が最大の魅力です。浅瀬のエメラルドグリーンから沖のコバルトブルーまで、幾重にも重なるグラデーションは息をのむ美しさ。 橋の両端には駐車場や展望スポットがあり、車を降りてゆっくり景色を楽しむことができます。特に宮古島側の駐車場からは、池間島や大神島を望む絶景が広がり、干潮時には白い砂洲が現れて“幻の浜”のような光景が見られることもあります。 ドライブやサイクリングで渡ると、潮風と開放感が心地よく、まるで海の上を散歩しているような感覚に。晴れた日には特に海の色が際立ち、写真映えも抜群です。

Ikema Bridge connects Miyako Island with Ikema Island, stretching about 1.4 km over the sea. Its biggest charm is the vivid “Ikema Blue” waters on both sides, with breathtaking gradients from emerald green in the shallows to deep cobalt blue offshore. Parking areas and viewpoints at both ends of the bridge allow you to stop and take in the scenery.
