We visited there in early March and saw many people were planting the flower seedlings. Not many tulip were blooming, but just some at the time. Still a beautiful day to walk around, though. The entrance fee was 310 yen, we needed to buy the ticket at the entrance, only by cash. There was a special event was on, which was a bonus to have a look around. The cafe was available only a few hours during the daytime. So it would be great to bring your own food, snacks and drinks for picnic. The parking was huge and spacious.

A small botanical garden hosting illumination event for this small city as a celebration for year end. Is a small and lovely event that you can expect to finish viewing it in less than 2 hours.

A beautiful garden for family outings when the weathe is fine. Come between Apr to June for the Flower Festival. On weekends, you may see some live performances

季節のイベントに誘われ休日に思い立ち友と訪れた。 私は初めてだったが友人は、ランタンのイベントや、イルミネーションのイベントの時に訪れたことがあるそう。ともに夜だったことから、昼のフローランテは全員初めて、(笑) こんなにも緑の芝が素敵で花が咲き誇り、生き生きとした自然を楽しむことのできる空間だとは！！ 色々なタイプのお庭のスタイルを呈した庭園や、建物も日本やヨーロッパ風な建物などもあり、１棟貸出などがあり撮影や、会食などに利用することが出来るようだ。 とても素敵です。写真を撮るのもとても楽しくて、短い時間で出る予定がついつい長居してしまい、お腹が空いたので園内で催うされていたお店のコロッケなどをお昼前にパクパク。揚げたてのコロッケがこんなにも美味しいとは。(笑) お花も園内で安く買えたし、また季節ごとに訪れて癒されたい、街のオアシス。 大切なことを忘れていました。入園料が300円かかります。 中に入ってからコロナのための連絡先記入が必要です。

nice place to hang out with family and children. but in winter there won't be many flowers. Mostly beautiful in summer times.

フローランテ宮崎は世界に誇る「花のまちづくりの推進拠点」として、市民や観光客が四季折々に花と共にある生活を楽しめ、多彩内なイベントが催される、都市緑化植物園の機能をもつ都市公園です。 1999年に開催された「第16回全国都市緑化みやざきフェア」の主会場の一部として整備され、 2000年4月に開園されました。現在は宮崎交通が市の指定管理者として運営しているようです。 2014年末の12月20日に『イルミネーション・フラワー・ガーデン～ひかりのはなぞの～』が開催されている時に帰省していた娘と孫を連れ行きました。子供向けの提灯作り教室行われており参加しましたがやはり暗くなってからのイルミネーションが圧巻でした。
