ここから見える吉野川と池田町の町はいいです。池田の市街地は２段の低位段丘面上にありますが、ここシンヤマの平坦面は、大規模な地滑りでできたようです。平坦面は和泉層群の角礫が出てくるので、讃岐山脈からの地すべり堆積物と研究者は考えているようです。讃岐山脈が隆起する以前には、吉野川はここからの讃岐平野に流れ、瀬戸内海に注いでいたようです。そんなことを...
