Wow. Where do I even start?
I traveled all the way to Japan just to see this statue, and I COULD NOT be happier with my decision.
The boy was peeing (well, pretending to) in such a calm and beautiful spot, with a sign that perfectly summed it up: “Iya Valley Peeing Boy Statue.” Honestly, what more could you ask for?
I had to pee myself, but unfortunately, you can’t join him. First off, he’s not actually peeing—just striking the pose. And second, you’re not allowed to hop the fence to get up close.

There is no other point of interest except a nearby Onsen resort. Also no place to park, thankfully only 1-2 cars when I was there so we could park at the side.
Taking pictures for 1 or 2 min and admiring the surrounding and off you go.
If you just pass by it is a good nice stop, otherwise I would not recommend to come all the way for it (just like I did on bicycle and extreme exhausting, from Ikeda to the pee boy statue is 20km with...
