I almost let the mid reviews steer me away. I'm glad I didn't. I came on a slow weekday evening and enjoyed my visit.

The water was hot. Like I could have sous vided a steak while I slowly worked into the water it was so hot. I enjoyed the cold water tap next to the bath for pouring cold water on my head. Not sure I was supposed to but I enjoyed standing outside on the balcony in the cold and snow. It covers you so no one will see you naked at least on the men's side.

The 100 yen 10 minutes worth of massage chair was a nice way to finish things up.
