Two waterfalls directly next to each other. They are along the Nakasendo route between Magome and Tsumago and the trail goes by them. They can’t be missed. I was there in February and the bridges and path beside the waterfall was very icy and slippery. There are no guardrails...

Scenic waterfall along the nakasendo trail between tsumago and Magome. Falls are named male falls and female falls. Crisp autumn foliage that is on the cusp of the turning red. It would be fabulous in full fall colours.
