One of the most beautiful waterfalls I've seen in Japan. The waters are crystal clear and at points, you can see the clear falls cascade down. Truly amazing. We went in on April 16, 2024. It was a cloudy day and I was scared the waters wouldnt be as blue but they were still blue and beautiful. The walkways and facilities are well maintained. Bathrooms are clean. The road to get here is a one lane road, drive slowly and carefully as there are no guardrails and you're sharing the road with oncoming traffic. This place is not busy at all, there were 2 other parties while we were here but we got to experience all the waterfalls by ourselves.
There is a restaurant at the entrance which is good and worth visiting, even just taking a look. The collections of things throughout the years is fun to look at.

We visited on a rainy day which is probably why the sound of the water falling down was louder than usual. The trek is beginner level but be careful on rainy days as the place can be quite slippery. The food at the only eating place near the falls was pretty good but we waited for 35 minutes before getting our meal. You can spend a day here but I recommend combining this place with another location/activity...
