Kudakajima was fantastic. It's small enough to explore the entire island on foot within a few hours, but exploring was fun and exciting. The small town was completely vacant when I visited (or at least it felt that way. It almost felt like having an entire island to myself. The only way on and off the island is on a boat that visits a few times a day. The water and scenery made for a truly...

この日はかなり日差しが強く、歩いてるとすぐ汗まみれになるような日だったが、浜に腰かけてのんびり過ごしてたら、海辺だからか、たまに潮風が吹いてきて意外に涼しかった。海辺は浅瀬になっているため、色んな生物がいた。でっかいカニとか、パッと見ザリガニみたいなヤツとか海鳥とか青い魚とかナマコとかヒトデとかヤドカリとか。ちょっとした美ら海水族館だった。最もよーく目を凝らして見るとヒトデが一番いっぱいいて　結構活発にウネウネしてた。ヒトデはキモいが場所は本当にいい場所だった。
