Futo Coast — Attraction in Nishiizu

Awesome scenery, very cool geology (as pictured), great water but susceptible to strong waves and the rocky shore (no sand beach) make this more of a come-and-go location than a 'spend-an-entire-afternoon' destination. This place was excellent for a roadside stop. There was free parking before 10:00. I found that the southern portion was less occupied and a lot of fun to snorkel. There are lots of caves to explore. Lots of tropical fish that can be seen by snorkelers or divers. There is fresh water to wash your body and equipment off...

Great rocky beach with swimming, snorkelling, scuba, fishing, SUP. Plenty of parking. Nice cafe. Quite busy in summer even though the access appears deserted.
