Wood monuments in a large grass field. Came to try night photography here and I loved it so much. It’s mysterious and since no one else was here we could enjoy the whole quiet atmosphere all by ourselves. Seems it has some other facilities to exhibit old lifestyles in this area which we didn’t get to see at night. Will come back in the daytime to explore more.

ゴールデンウィークには毎年の様に能登島や見附島にキャンプツーリングに来ていました。15年くらい通っていました。 2023のアニメ「君は放課後インソムニア」の舞台が七尾周辺だったので聖地巡礼のネット記事を参考に周っみました。特に真脇遺跡には興味があったのでアニメと同じように、星を眺められる時間を狙って訪れてみました。虫除けスプレーを忘れてしまい、酷く蚊にやられましたが芝生に寝転んで満天の星空を眺めていました。流れ星も。 震災の復旧工事がいたる場所で進んでいました。 宿や商店の地元の方々はとても暖かく迎えて頂き、素晴らしい能登の魅力に触れられました。

指定された区画の5%しか発掘されていないが、鏃や土器、土偶、柱、繊維などが多様な出土品が発見されている。この規模は、三内丸山や吉野ヶ里に並ぶ堂々とした遺跡であると感じた。海上交通の要である能登半島。陸路交通から視点を外し、発達した海上交通に思いを巡らしてみると、別の発見があると思う。きっと財宝が出土した途端に有名になる遺跡である。今は訪れる人はすくないが、きちっと調査すれば、歴史の空白が埋まっていく貴重な遺跡。

真脇遺跡

まわきいせき

石川県鳳珠郡能登町字真脇

縄文時代前期から晩期にいたる 集落跡の遺跡

余程住みやすかったのか 縄文、弥生、古墳までの 遺物が出るという

大量のイルカの骨が発掘 食用と加工し生活用具として 利用

真脇遺跡縄文館には 発掘物が展示されている

イルカの骨は勿論、人骨も 比較的きれいな状態で残っており 貴重な展示です

木製仮面が半分程度残って いるがやや不気味な感じ
