AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! Fukiware Waterfalls aka Fukiwari-no-Taki is north of Oigami. The waterfall is awesome with a height of 7 metres and a width of more than 30 metres. The best bit is that we could walk right up close to admire the stunning spectacle. There are shops on one side of the path. On the other side are toilet facilities. 鱒飛の滝（ますとびのたき）は、片品川を遡上してきたマスが、この滝から上流にはどうしても上れず「鱒止めの滝」と云われていたそうです。 マスが必死に飛び跳ねていたことから「鱒飛の滝」と呼ばれるようになったそうです。

大量の水量が川幅の狭い滝に一気に流れ落ちていて、確かに余程根性のある屈強な魚でなければ、とても上れそうもない勢いのある滝です。 轟々とした大音量の水音で迫力のある滝なのですが、滝の上の一部しか見れず、滝の全体像や滝壺が見れません。

お盆休みにバスツアーで参加。 吹割の滝見学に50分いただきましたが、 ちょうど良い感じでした。 お土産物は画像のみで物色する時間はありませんでした。 吹割の滝より、鱒飛の滝の方がマイナスイオンを感じられて、より良かったです。 あいにくの小雨模様でしたが、かえって気温が下がりゆっくり見学できました。 滝の落ちるところは近づかないと観られないのが残念ですが、 落下の危険性は充分あるので仕方がないと思います。 しかもロープしかなく、お子様連れは十分に注意が必要です。 遊歩道も狭く、いつでも水に落ちる危険性があります。 転んでしまった方もいらっしゃるので、私も気をつけて歩きました。
