A small but intriguing temple in Osaka. Even though it is an old temple in a rustic part of Osaka, it is tourist friendly with English language descriptions inside the temple. The small Buddhist hell close to the entrance is easily the highlight of this place with scary figures and a vivid description of what hell can be like.
You can also take a fun test to check if you will go to hell or heaven! After the hell comes Buddhist paradise with mandala panel on the floor. I personally liked the hell part.
There is also a small space with a huge collection of old toys that will probably make the older generation of local people a bit nostalgic.
