I went there on May 28, 2023.

Pros Absolutely mind-blowing food (The food was just presented so well and the taste was so familiar and yet so strong) Service (The lady that serviced us was very passionate about that food she served us. She was attentive and had great hospitality. She was very informative and treated us we were her favorite guests.) Price (Really reasonable for this kind of set menu food)

Cons..... I really wanted to say something since I've always given cons to every restaurant. I sat here typing and erasing... and I really can't think of anything..... so.... NONE

Let's talk about the food: I guess I should talk about the food here. This place was just amazing. It's what you call a hidden gem. I've almost never been to a restaurant where I just want to put down my camera and just enjoy the food. This place is just simply that good. They served me food that I've had. However, the way they serve their dishes was not only simplified, it brings out the true essence of some of the ingredents. There was more than a few times where both me and my parent were astounded by what we were eating. We didn't know that certain food elements could be presented that way, or could be made into those textures and enhance flavors. I could go one by one and talk about how each dish was specials and unique. However, it wouldn't do the dishes justice so it's best you should go try it yourself.

FYI, they make their own ice-cream! Not only was delicious and had good texture, and it puts a lot of ice-cream shops that only serve ice-cream to shame.

Let's talk about the Service:

The lady who served us was actually the wife of the chef. She was very passionate about her food. Every dish she served us she explained what it was and sometimes how they make it. She showed excellent hospitality. She even brought over a plate to one of the dishes to show that it looked like a samurai's hat. She is pleasant to talk to and showed great care and love for her restaurant.

Another key note to excellent service, after we had asked for a refill on our tea. She notices, so paid attention to our cups. She ended up bring us a teapot without asking (thanks for the great care.)

Let's talk about the Price:

I've been to many set menus places. Not only do I think this place had the most balance flavor and food. I can't believe it's only around 9000 yen/per person for their highest set menu. I feel I've been to a lot of set menu places where they get too fancy with food causing a clash in flavor profiles. Or, they take shortcuts and are careless. This restaurant however, was not only less expensive, it honestly was a lot better and thoughtful with their food selection. Absolutely no complains here and worth every penny.

日曜日の昼下がり、妻の還暦祝いと母の日を兼ねて、妻の母を含む家族で訪れました。 お店は和の趣にあふれ、落ち着いた雰囲気の中で、心温まるひとときを過ごさせていただきました。

特に印象的だったのはお料理です。天然鯛や茄子、筍など、春の旬をふんだんに取り入れた品々は、どれも丁寧に仕立てられており、見た目も美しく、季節の恵みを五感で堪能できました。
