First off if you have Tattoos you must cover them up before entering this location even if you booked a private family room! I made this mistaken but the staff was kind to correct me and thankfully i have a jacket to cover my arm tattoos.
If you do not have towels you can rent or buy them for about 100. You can get a set (one small towel and a bigger towel) for a little bit more. There are other self-care items such as razors, nylon scrubber, more luxurious shampoos, etc.
You purchase the tickets via vending machine on the first floor. This is also where the private family rooms are located.
The rooms come with multiple face washed and moisturizer. there is body soap, hair shampoo and conditioner.
To operate the water you turn it “down” to have the water come out of the faucet which is useful to fill your bowl. You can turn the faucet “upwards” to have the water be redirected to the shower head. For cold water you can use the faucet to the side that has a blue tip.
The second floor is where the public onsen is located though i cannot comment as I have tattoos and have to use the private family room.
I had a 12 hour layout and ended up here just before returning to the airport and it was well worth it! When i return to Osaka I will surely stop by again!
Transit to this business was very easy with a bus line just 2 minutes away that goes to...
Read moreArrived to the stench of cigarettes when walking in the front door. 🚬 . Booked an hour massage and it was so painful and so rough that I was sore for days. My wife who speaks fluent Japanese explained to the guy to be gentle due to old injuries but he ignored the request was intentionally trying to inflict pain. Smelling cigarette smoke whilst getting a massage was awful and the man kept talking to passing customers and stopping to answer the phone. Worst massage experience I’ve ever had.
No credit cards excepted anywhere in this Onsen.
The Onsen itself was very busy with screaming kids, loud youth and you couldn’t hear yourself speak let alone relax. It’s only a smallish Onsen and there is no crowd cap in place so it was hectic to say the least! Water quality was average at best and the smell of chlorine on skin was very present post swim.
Restaurant staff were unpleasant on arrival and it seemed like they had had enough and hating their job. Won’t be back to this place and don’t recommend it. 2 stars at best as there was ample parking and lighting in and around the Onsen was...
Read moreAmazing experience that was extremely relaxing. Staff was incredibly friendly to us even though we don't speak too much Japanese. This was me and my partners first experience with an onsen and it will definitely not be our last.
Couple things to note for anyone else who hasn't been to one before and hesitant on going. When you walk in the front door there is benches to take your shoes off and lockers to place them into. This onsen in particular has private family rooms that you can book without going through the public bath at all. The family room reservation table is on the first floor and you just walk up and let them know your name and show the reservation number. We ended up going with their room 8 and it was amazing 2 baths one inside and one outside. They only had up to 90 minutes reservations but if you can do any longer I definitely would.
