Cattle Museum — Attraction in Oshu

The Cattle Museum is a nice place to stop by if you’re traveling on Route 4. We always take this road so we decided to have a look. Admission is inexpensive.

On the first floor, you learn about industry use of meat and some agriculture. The second floor is about different countries and their cows, the human relationship to cows in history, and scientific research.

On a nice day, there’s a stunning view from the upper terrace.

If you happen to find yourself driving through Iwate and feel like needing a rest from the drive; why not stop by the Cattle Museum for a bit.

As I was driving down the road, I found myself needing a stop and on a whim choose to stop by and rest my legs.

What I found was a very nice Muesum with lots of information about cattle. Lots of love for Cattle can be felt going through the Muesum with sections dedicated to cows around the world and historical traditions with cows.

Me encantó! Soy de México y me dedico a la producción y reproducción de ganado, cuando viaje a Japón quería visitar lugares no tan comunes para turistas, y me encontré con Hiraizumi.

Termine de recorrer Hiraizumi y había visto este museo, tanto por la barrera de lenguaje como que tenía que volver ese día a Sendai no sabía si valía la pena ir al museo, pero me dije "puedes llegar un poco más tarde a Sendai, ve a ver el museo, no está tan lejos"

Tuve que ir en taxi por qué no sabía cómo llegar hasta allá a tiempo antes de que cerraran el museo y en verdad valió todo!

Es un museo pequeño de 2 plantas pero en verdad es muy bonito y termine impresionada, se habla desde el marmoleo de la carne hasta como ven al ganado vacuno en otros países!

Me encantó, además el personal fue muy amable y en verdad lo disfrute...
