8年ほど前に訪問しました。17世紀初めに戦国大名の福島正則が安芸移封時に整備した4つの城の一つです。一国一城令のために完成間もなくして破却されたそうですが、遺構を見るにかなりの堅城だったと思います。 また、春は桜が咲き誇る素晴らしい城跡だと思います。
I visited this castle about 8 years ago, and it was one of the four castles that Masanori Fukushima, a feudal lord in the Warring States period, built when he moved to Aki in the early 17th century.
