Biwako Terrace The Main-Grand Terrace — Attraction in Otsu

After ropeway, getting on the top you must expect that it is diff. temperature especially this autumn month, its super cold for me!lol Biwako terrace/valley is super huge where there is a lot of things to do... for the cost 3500¥ its kinda worth though as long as you like to do things, competitive activities or just enjoying the day with friends or family. The view is superb the ambience is so cool. The only thing is not good is the parking rate, its a bit expensive for me, but you could have an option to take the bus too, its just that for convenient purposes after the long day of having fun its better...

Overall it is Ok, but very dependant on the weather.

The view is very nice, both from the terrace and from the cable car.

The prices are very expensive though: Parking ticket ¥2.000 Cable car retour ticket ¥4.000 (per adult)

The restaurant/cafe is also only opened untill 16:00 and the free wifi there wasn't working or it was really slow. Seats/tables are also assigned, so if you are unlucky; you will get a seat without any view outside. There is also a limited amount tables for 2 persons+, larger groups may need to...

If you're in Osaka, this is a good mountain to take the bus to for a day of skiing or snowboarding. The line ups are acceptable, and the facilities are good. They have snow pants/jackets for rent, and have enough sizes to get you going. It's a small mountain, but does the trick. The snow was powdery, and the weather was great on the day I went. Slopes are well groomed, and chairlifts were operated well. I am an intermediate skier, and it was a good day of skiing for me. I would recommend...
