Revitalising and a wonderful setting in both the cold snowy months and warmer sunny seasons. I have had the pleasure of visiting in both and caught a bit of a tan whilst sitting outside in one of their many hot spring baths. What I really like here is that they have a mud bath. You slather it all over your skin, get out and sit on a rock, dry off in the sun and resemble something from the caveman days, then hop into the adjacent bath to rinse off. My skin has never felt or looked so good after visiting this place. My chronic neuropathic pain has improved too. I am going to miss my three weekly visits here when I return to the UK. They are tattoo friendly too and I say this because I am a heavily tattooed female with bright blue hair and being a local spring bath, used only by the local residents it would seem, I really did stand out. The food here is pretty good too so why not try the ramen afterwards. You buy your ticket for the food at the machine where you enter and hand it in at the restaurant. I also recommend bringing your own hair conditioner as they supply shampoo and body wash but it really strips your hair and I couldn't get a brush through mind afterwards. My next visit I bought my own wash bag and toiletries and this was...

The cleanliness of the women’s change room and possibly the men’s (from my boys and husband’s viewpoint) need to be improved to enhance visitors experience. The floor was wet and covered with hair. The bin was full, overfilling, in fact. It feels the place is under-staffed in comparison to other onsens. Many ladies and young girls were on tippy toes across the floor.
Affordable solutions for the business - Would be it be possible to provide a couple of brooms or floor wipes and hand wipes for visitors to participate and assist with the maintenance of the hygiene of the place? The only materials available during our visit was one tissue box and q-tips, not adequate to use to pick up water, dirt and hairs...
Read moreMy favorite onsen during my trip in Niseko. It’s cheaper than other places. My review is for the women’s side onsen. There’s mud bath in the women side only (outside), which I enjoyed. There are four outside pools and the temperature is not too hot. One is a lying down pool, which I like. There is only one big pool inside with hot water and one small cold water pool. There’s sauna too. The bath/ shower side is not big, it’s smaller compare to normal onsen. They’re close on Tuesday. It’s 20 minute driving distance from Niseko village. It’s a must try if you are...
