サイクリングでちょくちょく伺います、相模湖、津久井湖、宮ヶ瀬湖は距離的に割と近いので湖を一日で三度楽しめます。 相模原市観光協会のホームページを見てみると津久井湖は昭和40(1965)年、純揚水式の城山発電所建設の下池として誕生した「城山ダム」の人造湖です。 周囲に広がる「津久井湖城山公園」は、桜の名所としても知られており、また、秋には紅葉、冬にはわかさぎ釣りなど四季折々の表情を見せてくれるスポットで、県内でも有数の景勝地として人気があります。とあります。
