Omiya Hananooka Norin Garden — Attraction in Saitama

I visited this park with my family on April 8, 2025, and it was a truly delightful experience. The park is spacious and beautifully laid out on both sides of the main road, offering a vibrant and peaceful atmosphere. Plus, there's no entrance fee, making it a great option for everyone.

Gorgeous tulip flowers lining both sides of the paths

A few lovely Sakura (cherry blossoms).

A few beautiful Nemophila flowers.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Great for Families: There’s a playground for children, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time with family and friends.

🚶‍♂️ Access Notes: If you're not traveling by car, here’s what to expect:

You can take a bus from Miyahara Station, but please be aware that bus schedules are not very frequent.

If you miss the bus, the walking distance from the station to the park is about 2.3 km.

Alternatively, if you're already on foot, the walk from the bus stop to the park is around 1 km.

Relatively small park with many seasonal flowers. A lot of the flowers in the park are managed by local volunteers. In early Autumn you can see salvia and kochia. They have a small pumpkin patch too. And a few spider lilies. The park is split in two by a main road. There is a restaurant on the grounds. Plenty of free parking. There are bus stops in the main car park. 宮原駅　徒歩30分。 お花畑が有名で写真から感じていたスケールは実際に見ると半分以外の大きさでした。 Google の口コミで1週間前にチューリップがきれいとあり行ってみたら、既に刈り取られた後で残念でした。 お花はポピーとネモフィラと薔薇の3種類だけ見れました。 SNSで開花情報を告知してる様子もなく、ライブカメラもなし。口コミや 個人ブログで開花状況を知るしかありません。

お花畑で有名な昭和記念公園なども開花状況は告知しますが、刈り取り時期の情報はないのでギガンジウムやラベンダー畑は刈り取り直後で見れず。開花状況がわかったら早めに行った方が良いですね。

管理事務所である みどりのふるさとセンターには、ドリンクとサーティワンアイスの自販機があります。 トイレは綺麗です。 ここでは料金に応じて、味噌加工室・調理室・実習室・研修室4つ利用できるシステム。 この管理事務所でポットドールが作られていて可愛かったです。 松ぼっくりや押し花の花のしおりなどがいただけます。

園内は徐行運転で自転車乗り入れOK 。

ベンチも複数置かれており公園としては過ごしやすく、お子様と遊ぶにはちょうど良い大きさだと思います。

日陰が少なくレジャーシートを広げるような感じもないので想像とは違いました。

親水広場は7月下旬から8月末の期間だけ水を張ります。5月でも30度近い日があるのでもう少し期間が長いと良いです。

ネモフィラ畑の前に自転車を停めて、大音量でオフコースを流している男性がいて怖かったです。 管理事務所は端っこにあって道路を挟んで2つに分かれています。 反対側のお花畑 エリアはスタッフが見回ってないし目が届かないので気づかれないみたいです。
