水木先生所縁の地獄絵図があるお寺ですが、境内に鳥居があったり、回廊の外にお社があったり、神仏混合の名残？がある珍しいお寺でした。朝８時に伺ったら自由に参拝出来たので、近くに泊まった時に、水木しげる記念館や水木しげるロードのお店が開く前の時間を有効に活用できますよ～(*´▽｀*)

水木しげる先生の ご縁のある場所で訪れました。 駐車場も広くてありがたい。 残念ながら 地獄、極楽の絵は 遠くから眺めるばかりでしたが 広々としたお寺で ゆったりした時間がすごせました。 ありがとうございました。

水木先生所縁の地獄絵図があるお寺ですが、境内に鳥居があったり、回廊の外にお社があったり、神仏混合の名残？がある珍しいお寺でした。朝８時に伺ったら自由に参拝出来たので、近くに泊まった時に、水木しげる記念館や水木しげるロードのお店が開く前の時間を有効に活用できますよ～(*´▽｀*)

水木しげるさんが幼少の頃お手伝いさんに連れられ頻繁に訪れ、本堂の地獄絵図に興味を覚えたことが数々の名作の原点になったというお寺。水木さんからの寄贈モニメントも展示されている。本堂の地獄絵図は観ることができなかった。整備の行き届いた立派なお寺。駐車場も整備されているので...
