It is a really nice place to visit and go for a walk and take some good pictures of 99 islands. Unfortunately that's about it. This place has so much more potential I am a bit disappointed in its lack of amenities. Would love to see vendors and a cafe built here or at least ice cream. There are other places in the area that already offer great views this location could have...

Beautiful scene especially on a sunny day. It's a newly built park with adequate parking space. There is a clear view of Sasebo's 99 islands. Great spot to walk (with dogs), jog and just take pictures. There are usually some mobile food stalls on the weekend for quick snack.

A new space to view the Kujukushima islands. Very wheelchair accessible. Wide open spaces to take in the surroundings. No phone or map code for driving navigation (yet?) but once you reach Tenkaiho, it’s just nearby and signages will direct you there. Or use Google Maps! 😊
