But I didn't mind since I didnt have much time and wanted to catch the view before sunset. I ended up waiting an hour for the bus late afternoon and it worked out just right. One-way trip bus back to Sasebo station by the way is about 520 yen and takes ~45 min. If you are picky like me, do check the weather to see if it will be clear or not. Overcasts are not great for pictures. Remember to ger on the bus from the back door and grab your paper ticket. The number will correspond with the fee chart on the screen that increases as the bus covers more distance. The bus times departing from Sasebo station (the bus stop is across the main street NW of Hotel Resol) are as of 02/2020-- 8:15, 9:46, 11:04, 12:55, 14:49, 16:44, 18:05. One of the best sunset views I’ve ever seen. It’s a quiet park, with an observatory deck where you have a full view in all angles. On one side, you can see Sasebo city and the harbor, and the other side has the seaside sunset with several island scattered in the sea.
