戦争遺跡マニアは必見、さらに周囲の展望が最高です。 保存状態も素晴らしく、周囲伐採など手入れもされており本当に素晴らしいです。最も高い位置のさらに小高く盛ったような小山の頂部に観測所(装甲掩蓋)が存在しています。内部に入って周囲を見ることで、当時の観測の様子をうかがい知ることが出来ます。とはいえ明治34年(1901年)に作られたものだそうで、腐食した金属がギリギリ構造を保っているところもあります。決して触らず見守ってあげて欲しいです。周囲は円周の堀状になっており、観測兵の動きが海から見えない工夫だそうです。ここも散策できるので興味深いものです。 問題は行き方です。実際、車では現地まで行けません。車で行かれる方は出来るだけ近くに駐車場を探す必要があります。目的地付近には全くありません。地元の方の邪魔になるので路駐はやめましょう。オススメは「白浜海水浴場...

山深くにある史跡「丸出山観測所跡」です。 道は細く、非常に解りづらく途中は舗装されてない箇所もあり、バイクは問題ないのですが、車で行くのは難しい（軽自動車ならギリギリ行けるかも？）でしょう。

100年以上前に作られたとは思えないほど保存状態は良く、しっかりとした作りです。 全体の大きさはそれほど無いので10分ほどあれば全てを見終えることができます。 私が行った際は周囲は草が刈られ、手入れされていましたので快適に見ることができました。周囲は私有地のようで民家もありますので、通行の邪魔や迷惑にな...
