Tsunoshima Observatory — Attraction in Shimonoseki

This place is said to be famous for its beautiful scenery in Japan. However, it was farther than I thought to access it from Kokura. Because the weather was cloudy, I couldn't see the color of the sea that I saw in the photo, but suddenly sunlight came out from the clouds and I was able to see a rainbow.

You can view this by parking in Amagase Park. I went on a Monday and there's no crowd at all. It's very beautiful and scenic and almsot like the postcard picture.

There's a toilet and omiyage shop too around the area.
