Kokaigawa River Fureai Park — Attraction in Shimotsuma

小貝川ふれあい公園は、小貝川の川沿いにある公園です。 駐車場を降りると、すぐ傍にネイチャーセンターがあります。 ネイチャーセンターの屋根にあるシンボルは、最初はイナゴだと思ってたのですが、国蝶のオオムラサキでした。

センターの裏には「こども広場」があります。 高台になっていて、ローラー滑り台などの各種滑り台がありました。 その先には、フラワーゾーンと呼ばれる大きなお花畑があります。 季節ごとに花が入れ替わり、5月にはポピー、秋にはコスモスが楽しめます。 訪れたのは5月だったので、ポピーが畑一面に咲いていて綺麗でした。背景には筑波山も見えます。

他には、パークゴルフ場やバーベキュー場もあります。 そして少し離れてますが、自然観察ゾーンと呼ばれるオオムラサキを保護している自然の森があります。 自然の森は立ち入り禁止ですが、約800mの自然観察路のみ入れるそうです。今回は、場所が分からず行けませんでした。
