We came with kid especially to do hand crafts. There were two types of crafts that can be done: making a rope that wad used in ancient times to make designs on clay (20 mins for 100 Yen), and making necklace from limestone (40 mins for 350 Yen). On weekends there are more crafts to be done. When we were here, it wasn't crowded and staff was very kind. They don't speak much English, but it's eazy to simply...

特別展の｢ふくしま発掘最前線｣を見てきました。最近発掘、調査された県内13の遺跡を大変分かりやすく展示されています。質問があれば館員の方が丁寧に説明してくれますよ。現在も発掘進行中の川俣の前田遺跡の調査発表を楽しみに待っています。

常設展の縄文～昭和までの生活の再現シーンを交えた展示は年代を問わずに楽しめると思います。有名な荒小路遺跡のハート型土偶も展示してあります。 書籍の閲覧もでき、オリジナルグッズを販売するショップもあります。

館外の広い広場の周囲には縄文～室町の住居や製鉄、畑などが再現され、ふかふかが気持ち良い｢歴史の小路｣を散策すれば森林浴も楽しめます。思い切り深呼吸するとコロナ自粛疲れも吹き飛びます。何気に土器が転がっているのがお茶目ですね(笑)

入場無料で助かります🎵、時々、👨‍👧‍👦子供たちと来ています‼️。 体験コーナー(石器時代のやり方で木を擦りって火🔥起こし、石削りしての首飾り💫、弓矢🏹、その他)も有りスタッフ方も丁寧に教えて😄✌️頂けます、これからも、時間を見つけて行きたいと思います😊👌‼️。 一本の木🌲から丸太船⛵を石おの🔨で作る体験も有り皆さんの力💪が必要なようです‼️また、バックヤード見学👀❗も有り、スタッフの方に色々と聞👂けて面白かった‼️です。 近くに米屋さんがやっているおにぎり🍙屋さん「たさぶろう」が有り、色んなおにぎり🍙が有り美味しい😋✌️ですよ‼️。 たまにですが、アクアマリンふくしまの移動水族館🐠が来る事も有り、どちらも楽しめ😄✌️ちゃいます‼️。 駐車場🅿️はとても広くとって有り、いつでも安心して停...

入館無料でした。 入口を入ると、江戸時代〜旧石器時代まで時代を遡りながら展示が見られ、それぞれの時代の衣食住などの情報はタッチパネルで解説があり勉強になります。 各時代の食事の膳がサンプルで展示されているのを見て、どんな味だったんだろう？と食べてみたくなりました。 職員さんが親切で、ご自身が発掘に携わられた時のお話しや、石器のカケラがパズルのようにくっつかる(？)事、土の色の違いで柱の場所が分かる理由など色々教えていただき、有り難かったです。 施設の外には各時代の復元建物が見られ、平安時代の製鉄炉もあり、映画もののけ姫のタタラ場でタタラを踏む場面が思い出されました。
