It is the spot to visit if you come on the island. Everybody takes pictures of the olive garden and the Greece like atmosphere. Though you won't forget you are in Japan. It has an exhibition room, and a souvenir shop. Most of the products you will find here are mostly based on olive. Well, the island produces a lot of it.
You will also find a herb garden here. They do have all sorts of aromatic herbs to amaze your nostrils. You can buy some as well if you want to bring some of those perfume home. You can also buy some olive trees! Yes, real olive trees for your garden. They are not warrantying it will still be alive, but surely you will have to take care of it.
Last but not the least, the park inspired as one of the Kiki delivery service animation location. The animation from Ghibli studio, with a teenage girl flying around on a magic broom, she has a cat named Jiji? Yes, that animation! So, many brooms were hung inside the centre for visitors to take pictures outside the building, free of charge. The windmill was located some distance from the centre, where the guests, especially those secondary school girls, imitated the magic girl to fly. Souvenirs and ice cream were available. The toilets were small but clean. The carpark was large. Another building was not opened for tourists. The park center has a free museum and you can pick up a broom for free to use for photos. If you're a kiki fan you already know what to do with this.
