A reservation was required, but that was no problem at all…it turned out that on the particular Sunday we went, at 1500, we were the only visitors‼️ A LOVELY gentleman & lady showed us around, sharing the duties between outside and inside. There was limited English explanation as we wandered about the grounds and garden, but to be honest, I just enjoyed being in such beautiful surroundings. Some very interesting points within the house itself and much to learn if historical residences are your thing! It’s definitely a place to return to in the different seasons as the garden is really quite beautiful. The tour itself was about an hour and a half and we had time to explore the garden a little at the end. For no admission fee, I can’t recommend highly enough if you want something different to do in an afternoon. Enjoy & enjoy‼️ 🇯🇵🎌🇯🇵🎌🇯🇵🎌🇯🇵🎌🇯🇵🎌🇯🇵🎌🇯🇵
