Nagisa Aquarium — Attraction in Suo-Oshima

It's an old run down building with only a handful of "exhibits". You can take your time and still run out of things to see within 5 to 10 minutes. There are two redeeming qualities: 1) there's a shallow wading area where the kids can touch sea stars and various shells, and a few fish and small sharks, and 2) it's cheap. Adult admission is only a few hundred yen. Kids under elementary school age are free. It's quite a drive out, so don't make it your primary plan for the day. Don't let the size of this aquarium fool you! It's small, but there's a lot of fun stuff to see. Don't get me wrong . . . . . this is not a major attraction, but it is something that you can pop in to if you're in the area and enjoy yourself. The best part is the pool where you can walk and play with sharks! Perfect for kids. . ....

Awesome little aquarium but that's the biggest issue very small. They had alot of fish and a couple touch tanks which were cool. They had an entire area where the kids could take their shoes off and walk in the water with some fish. Cute little trip...
