Takahata Winery — Attraction in Takahata

I am a great fan of Takahata winery and had the privilege of visiting the winery in person from Tokyo. The experience was less than what I expected. They had wine tasting but it was by each station. It was almost like food tasting in a Japanese supermarket. Disappointing. They should have western winery style whereby a large counter is set up and customers can stand in a good number and listen to the wine talk from the staff and taste all wines at the one counter. Definitely worth visiting. Rather nice wines. Unfortunately, could not sample as I was driving, but procured a box of selected wines which I thoroughly enjoyed upon arriving home.
