A hidden gem of an important temple in a mountain side of Takarazuka, Hyogo. Short access from two train stations JR and Hankyu. Different walking routes through quiet town or country where you can see river below and tall threes. There're traditional market stalls to it selling various goodies and food to try. The temple is dedicated to Kojin the firely guardian god of household, Buddhist temples and shrines, beautiful pond with koi carps, art museum, landscaped gardens for four seasons, and special souvenir shop for faithful. At some dates, special Buddhist festivals and rituals, tea ceremony are held. Respectful clothing, steady shoes, and quiet behavior according to Japanese Buddhist customs required throughout visit.
