御祭神は 大己貴命（大国主命）と 少彦名命（一寸法師）です。

御神体は、 縦横高さが各6～７メートルくらいの 石室です。

重さは700トンといわれています。

岩の下には池があり、 一本足で立っているにも見え、 水に浮いたように見える 角度もあります。

そのため「浮石」とも 呼ばれています。

こも池中の水は霊水で、

今までどんな時でも枯れたことがなく、 また、大雨でも溢れたことも ないそうです。

海水の満潮干潮を表しています。

また、万病に効果があるとも 伝えられています。 （飲んではだめよ）

★神社の裏山に登ってみよう！

瀬戸内海も見えて、 いい眺めです。

頂上がとても広くて、 ここで瞑想したら、 すばらしい気持ちよさを感じられます。

無条件でパワーが アップします。

岩に対峙するだけで 力がみなぎります。

古代史マニアの間で よく囁かれている噂があります。
