A temple in the middle of a highway from Omi-Takashima that features a torii that is in the middle of the lake. If you don’t have a car be prepared to have a 30 minute walk from the station. The place is quite hard to walk to because of the speeding vehicles. Also, even though the place explicitly says that you should not walk through the highway just to get a better picture, some people still do it. Otherwise you could take a photo at the platform specifically made for that and be safe instead of risking your life for a photo. The place also has some memorials for Murasaki Shikibu at the back but people don’t really visit there.
