The employee or owner is a old sad racist man. Imagine telling people in 2023 you have to cover tattoos while camping or let alone the beach. Been in Japan for 4 years now, I respect Japanese rules like covering tattoo at gym or Public pools but it's not common to be asked to cover at beach or camping ground

When your camping usually it's expected to keep to yourself and respect others so why is it anyone concern your showing tattoos at your camp site?

Oh I forgot tattoos make you a bad person? Even though tattoos been around for decades.

When asked about this on the phone , the response was rude, it's very clear this man has a low life and hates foreigners.

Hope your campground loses alot of business when world exhibition comes in 2025 because your rules are ridiculous.

Shirahige Beach is a natural gem with breathtaking scenery and pristine waters, perfect for stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). My SUP experience, provided by a different company, was truly outstanding and made the trip worthwhile. However, the beach’s management is a different story. The facilities, including showers, are poorly maintained and often dirty. There are no trash cans, even though you can purchase bottled drinks on-site, leaving visitors with no place to dispose of trash. Despite the natural beauty, the site’s management shows a disappointing lack of care and responsibility, overshadowing what could be an exceptional destination. The beach’s incredible setting deserves better upkeep...

If you look foreign (i.e. not Japanese), the old racist man at the entrance will tell you that it's a private beach and point to the exit.

Don't bother trying to rent a SUP or visit the cafe or swim or canoe or anything!!!

All the entrance signs are in English so it seems like foreigners are welcome here, but the opposite is true.

This is NOT acceptable behaviour in 2025.

As a reply to this review, the owner will say "we are trying to improve" or something to that effect, but it's clearly not true since this keeps happening.

There are NO other beaches nearby!! It's not like you can just go down the street and find another place!!
