A very special place. At the start, two impressive statues and a magical stairway below the shrieking cormorants and elegant egrets. Then you reach an Incredibly tranquil main shrine area. Peaceful, well maintained, lovely water garden. Serene cemetery that includes grave of the famous slime mould biologist Minakata Kumagusa. And even some ammonites! Was practically empty on a Monday. And a good excuse to cross a pedestrian bridge on the way...
